REGARDING A RECENT VIDEO CIRCULATING ON SOCIAL MEDIA
We want to bring to your attention a recent incident involving a video that surfaced on social media, depicting one of our members at Care Well of Charlotte during a crisis.
The safety, dignity, and wellbeing of our members are—and will always be—our highest priorities. We are actively investigating this incident and taking it with the utmost seriousness. We have informed all relevant parties and are fully committed to understanding exactly what happened and why.
Beyond the investigation, we are taking immediate internal steps to review our practices, strengthen our crisis intervention protocols, and provide additional staff training where needed.
We take great pride in the care we provide and remain committed to our mission of Caring with Integrity. This incident does not reflect the culture of compassion and respect we strive to uphold every day.

Joseph and barbara caldwell
Joseph and Barbara Caldwell founded Care Well of Charlotte in 1998. Mr.Caldwell was the Vice President of Vocational Services and Mrs.Caldwell was working for the city of Charlotte. Their passion for helping others coupled with their faith led them to open Care Well of Charlotte in which they began providing services in January of 1999.
